Peter WARD

Peter WARD was born in Hampstead, London. He  studied at The Kingston School of Art  and was on the staff of West Surrey College of Art. He spent time in St Ives from the 1960s onwards, settling there in the 1980s, having a studio in the Penwith Gallery. He taught at the St Ives School of Art.

 His paintings were shown widely in Britain and France, and in 1997 he had a major retrospective at the Penwith Gallery.

The Lander Gallery has some works which came from the artist's studio sale.
